Hi everyone,
We've started posting pictures of Henry and his new bro William on Picassa.

Just drop me a line if you want to be on the distribution list.

Cheers!

Work Santa

While we're in posting mode, here are some Santa shots. Matthew's work had a nice party for kids, complete with a Santa.
Henry was pretty into him.

And even got a present. A nice party.

sledding

We got a whole lot of snow. Today we went sledding on the nice slope in front of the Capitol.

Nice view, eh?
Afterward, hot chocolate.

Henry's Patriotic Revue

Our neighbor Ky, a marine helicopter pilot and fabulous dresser, took Henry and Emily on a private tour of the Capitol. Awesome.

Henry was so moved he improvised the following patriotic revue. Thanks Ky!

Halloween

This was the first time Henry was big enough to get Halloween, and he really got it.

At school the day before, he wore this pumpkin costume, which he also wore last year. (Check him out.) Cousin Amy Kaplan made this!
For the main event, however, Henry let his Presidential freak flag fly. He and Emily (mainly Emily) cooked up this Abe Lincoln outfit.

Once he understood the general principle of trick-or-treating, he was very enthused.

The last stop of the night was at his friend Alice's house. They had made some truly amazing pumpkins. All in all, a great evening.

Henry recites the presidents

We haven't posted in ages. In the meantime, Henry has memorized the presidents, his newest obsession. Here, he recites them using a placemat with all their faces as a crib sheet. [Edit: new version with subtitles. (!) ]

Spring springs

Springtime is here, bringing flowers (courtesy of neighbor Ed, aka egg)

as well as swimming, with bff Siri.

Here in live action.

Haircut video

This may be more info than most folks need, but Leslie took this video of Henry's recent haircut.

While we're at it, here he poops.

Morning Play-doh

Henry has been pretty into play-doh recently. Here's a picture of intense concentration from the morning.

Last snow pics of the winter

We had a freak snow storm. Henry, Siri, Emily, and Christina took full advantage.

Sideways bonus video

Turn your head sideways to enjoy Henry's new words: Hello and "Mucho Pee-Pee." Special surprise ending!

Winter Catch-up

We haven't posted in ages, so here are some quick shots from the winter. More to follow.

Henry Glamor Shots

We're up in Vermont visiting Amy and Melissa for New Year's. Amy is a great photographer, and took these shots at lunch the other day, posted for grantparental printing and framing pleasure.

Henry didn't make it to midnight, but the adults had a pretty good time nonetheless.

Birthday!

Henry just had a birthday. The big 0-2.

We had a little party. Here you can see (clockwise from bottom left) Jack, Chloe, Logan, Peter, Siri, and Henry's hand. The big guy is Bjorn.

Another shot, with Jeremy talking to Logan, and Kristina helping Siri. A cameo from Grandma Sara.

It seems the dads were left in charge. There you can see Lilly and her dad, another Jeremy.
Auntie Bookers came all the way from Boston!
Apparently, Henry just said something hilarious.

Siri models a hat.

Here's Henry checking out a Birthday card, with help from a friendly bear..

Bonus pumpkin movie

Pumpkin Henry

For Halloween, Henry borrowed a costume made by Emily's cousin Amy. As you can see, Amy's quite the seamstress.
Henry shared it with his friend Siri.

Henry was actually sick for the big day, and so couldn't participate in Halloween activities. As you can see, he's excited for next year.

More pics from Seattle

Here are some more pictures from our trip to Washington state.

We started off with a Costco raid

Here the cousins model some nice MTSU shirts
This ended in sadness

I'm not sure why this is in black and white...
We took a ferry ride to the island, and there was some horsing around

Jacob won't pose for pictures, so you have to sneak up on him unaware
A happy grandmother:
